The Good Works Mission (a Public Benefit Organization we have been funding) has been doing incredible work, and we want to take a moment to highlight two of their projects.
Humanitarian Aid Trip
In January 2024, six volunteers from the Christian Fellowship „South" Church of Christ in Warsaw (Poland), four buses, and 6.4 tons (14,100 lbs) of humanitarian aid (mainly food, medicine, hygiene products, sleeping bags, flashlights, and stoves) worth roughly USD 22,000 to L'viv.
As soon as they crossed the border, air raid sirens sounded. Once they reached L'viv, they went to the local post office where they unloaded three vehicles and sent the products further to three partner churches in Pershotravensk, Mykolaiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk. One van was unloaded at the Church of Jesus Christ in L'viv: half of the load was distributed locally, and half will go to Izium.
Though the night was peaceful, Sunday morning began with another air raid alarm. The volunteers were undeterred, attended the church service, and distributed the aid to those who came. It was a huge success, though a logistical and organizational challenge, as always.
"Motherhood without Stress" Project

End of January, while on a humanitarian aid trip together with Fundacja Life, volunteers visited two hospitals - in Tarnopol and Lutsk. Since the beginning of the year, both facilities have overseen over 250 deliveries. This is a consequence of emigration within the country - pregnant women fleeing the war are looking for a safe place where they can give birth. The Good Works' motherhood campaign stands out from competing projects in that a maternity package is delivered directly to the hands of future mothers.
Good Works are in constant contact with doctors and hospital staff, and during the January trip the volunteers handed over 100 parcels, each filled to the brim with the most necessary items. This time the package included a pacifier, rompers, a feeding bottle, changing pads, diapers, powdered milk, bath emulsion, after-bath balm, postpartum inserts, a teether, a swaddle and a thermometer.
While handing over parcels, the volunteers have time to talk for a while. These incredibly brave women shared their incredible stories. Their husbands are fighting in the war, and some of the women admitted with tears in their eyes that during their pregnancy they received information about the death of their partners. Now they rely only on themselves and support from the state and aid organizations, such as Good Works.
As you can see, the support and rebuild work in Ukraine continues. Your financial support makes this possible!
